Oakland Gyros: Authentic Greek Cuisine in Milwaukee

I actually love this location more than the original. They have a convenient drive thru, so you don’t even need to leave your car or fight for a parking spot like the original location. I ordered 2 Chicken Shishkebab platters, one with rice and one with salad. I was I my able to get a picture of the rice platter, because I ate the salad immediately. They are my go to for Greek food.

i ordered through door dash last night thursday July 24th, 2025 around 9:12pm & it got to my house at 9:30pm. everything was fresh & tasty! i ordered a vanilla shake as well & it was delicious & refreshing. the huge portions of gyro meat could of filled 2-3 more pitas. it was filled with thick cuts of meat too. i would highly recommend this place if your hungry because they do NOT skimp. will be ordering more often!

Quite welcoming staff and good food. We ordered gyro and beef kabob plates. The meat tasted great especially the kabobs, however, the side rice was really bad and tasted rather raw! You can replace rice with fries which was a much better option. I wish it had more olives in it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stopped by Oakland Gyros on Layton and it did not disappoint. I ordered the combo with gyro meat, steak, and chicken over rice — and the portion was insane. Easily more than enough for one meal. I made two pita sandwiches out of it and still had leftovers to take home. The meats were flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the rice soaked up all the juices. You definitely get your money’s worth here. If you’re hungry or just want something that’ll last you more than one meal, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by for a quick bite and couldn't be happier I did! Awesome gyro, full of meat for the price. Gyro platter with the salad was big enough for 2 people to eat. Philly was loaded with meat and peppers. It was super delicious!! Would definitely recommend and worth the drive from Kenosha.

First time here. Upset it took so long! First, the staff extremely friendly, the atmosphere was great. I ordered the gyro which was perfect and the the Mrs. ordered the beef kabobs. Fresh and great grilled taste. We also ordered the saganaki to share and this was delicious. Definitely coming back.

Slid thru their drive-thru for a Greek salad plus a side portion of gyro meat. The meat seemed fresh & seasoned quite well. The salad was excellent. The gave Ken's buttermilk ranch dressing as alternative to trad. Greek dressing. Guy at the window very kind.

If you’re craving authentic Greek food, this is the place you don’t want to miss! Oakland Gyros is absolutely amazing. The service is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We dined in for a meal and also ordered a few pounds of gyro meat and kabobs to take home. Even after being refrigerated or frozen, they still tasted delicious. The photo doesn’t do it justice!
